Before we put our wheels to the road and travel through any particular states, we need to conduct a route survey and secure state permits. States and provinces regulate the size and weight of the loads traveling along their road and highways. We will obtain the appropriate routes and permits so that the overweight and/or oversize load does not travel on roads that may be damaged by the weight, roads that are too narrow, or roads that have bridges that cannot handle the height or weight.
